In Behind The Static:

 A spooky atmospheric scavenger hunt, play as a trick or treater who gets pulled into a dangerous new world where you must escape. Avoid the monster at all costs and don't rely too much on your eyes in a world full of fog.

Controls: 

WASD / Arrow Keys Movement

Sprint: Shift

Pause Menu: Esc

This spooky atmospheric game was made as a submission to the Gamedev.TV Halloween Jam 2025. All of the required attribution will be listed below.

Install Instructions:

Extract the files from the "Behind_The_Static.zip". Open the "Behind_The_Static.exe". If a window pops up saying "Windows couldn't run this program"  just click "More information" then "Run anyway." 

About the Developer:

Hello, I'm CozyLantern and this is my first ever game and also my first ever game jam, I learned a lot while making this game although its not as good as I wanted it to be.
